Privacy Policy

GetYourGuide: activity links and the activities widget come from our partner GetYourGuide (partner ID SXI7M2F). Their partner script loads on our pages and may set cookies or collect analytics (for example pages viewed and clicks on activity links) so bookings can be credited to us; see the GetYourGuide privacy policy.

Affiliate links: when you click a partner booking button we record an anonymous click (provider, route, date; IP stored only as a daily hash) to count referrals. See Affiliate disclosure.

Your location

Location is used only when you tap “Use my current location”. Your browser asks for permission, the position is turned into a nearby place name to fill the search (we send it rounded to about 1 km), and it is not stored on our servers or in your account. This device only remembers that you used the option, so it can offer it again.

What we collect

• Account: email and a hashed password.
• Trips you save and your recent searches (deletable any time).
• Subscription status from Stripe, Google Play or Whop (no full card numbers).
• Technical logs (IP, user agent) for security and rate limiting, kept up to 30 days.

Third parties

Place searches are sent to Photon (Komoot) and Nominatim (OSM); routes to OSRM and Transitous; currency rates from Frankfurter. If you accept ads cookies, Google AdSense may use cookies to show ads. Payment processors: Stripe, Google Play, Whop.

Your rights

Access, correct, export or delete your data at /delete-data or by email. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (account, subscription), our legitimate interest in security and counting referrals, and your consent for ads cookies. Retention: account data until you delete it; technical logs up to 30 days; billing records as required by law. Our services and providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, with appropriate safeguards.
